ASSEMBLY TEAM MEMBER

This position will work as part of a team having responsibility for assembling a component of a product. Team assemblers can perform all tasks conducted by the team in the assembly process and rotate through all or most of them rather than being assigned to a specific task on a permanent basis.

PI TEAM MEMBER

This position will work as part of a team having responsibility for repairing gel-coat and fiberglass defects on FRP parts. Team members can perform all tasks including but not limited to sanding, buffing and repair work on the FRP parts.

LAMINATION TEAM MEMBER

This position will work as part of a team having responsibility for laminating layers of fiberglass on molds to form boat decks and hulls. Team members can perform all tasks in the lamination process and rotate through all or most of them rather than being assigned to a specific task on a permanent basis.

GEL - COAT TEAM MEMBER

This position will work as part of a team having responsibility for applying gel-coat in the manufacturing process. Team members can perform all tasks including but not limited to maintaining all spray equipment, hand spraying, operation of robot spray, ensuring the quality of the gel-coat process.

My name is Tricia Smith. I have been with Yamaha for 3 years. My experiences here have been very satisfying and fulfilling. I started on the deck line in assembly. Since then I have been promoted to crew leader of deck line and then on to Utility Line Tech; which has served me well in my goal to obtain as much knowledge as possible about Yamaha jet boats; and continues my growth daily. I love my job at Yamaha and look forward to retiring from here when I’m old.
